| I have to admit that when I first joined twinturbo.net this past November I was excited. Not long after I joined I made a few rather stupid posts and immediately, I was lit up like a nOObish Christmas tree. Now, originally this led me to think that this forum was mainly full of pricks who didn't care to help anyone new;-) However, I soon came to realize that the fault was mine. I hadn't bothered to read or search for my answers...and chose to blurt out questions that had already been answered at least a thousand times. Since then I have become much more familiar with the site. Using the FAQ's, searching, visiting links, bookmarking, and reading..reading..reading. I've learned tons about my Z but in general I've found truth in the following statements: 1. The guys on this site are plain and simply the SHIT! What may seem like insulting bantering at first...is really quite hilarious once you realize where these guys are coming from (since most of the sarcasm is deservingly directed at incredibly stupid questions)and you don't take everything they say too seriously. 2. This site has more information than you can ever imagine. I'm almost certain that every question you could ever ask about a Z32 has already been covered at least once...if not a couple hundred times. "Purpose of site is to archive Z information. It is found by using search. Same reason you go to a library to read books to research a topic instead of standing in the library lobby shouting your question hoping someone has read the books your answer is in. And yes, being a smart ass comes naturally. But hanging around Nixit doesn't hurt either..." - LordZ 3. Being a nOOb isn't so bad as long as you learn to research extensively first and respect those around who've been there and know what they're talking about. Then you can start asking questions. Plus you can always look forward to the day when the little green N goes away. So I would like to say thanks to all the veterans for making this a kickass site and to all the other nOObs out there...I know it's not always easy being a nOOb, but being a nOOb isn't an excuse to be stupid! Oh yeah...and writing cohesive sentences with correctly spelled words never hurts either!
